It would be useful if you could post an image of that error message.

I would suggest you see if it is your Anti-Virus software scanning files. Stop it scanning outgoing mail.

How are you sending the image ? If image file is open, close it. In Thunderbird

  • open a new Write message.
  • Enter details and Type content
  • click on 'Attach' button
  • select the image file.
  • click on 'Open'
  • click on 'Send'
