EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ - Random Crashing
I upgraded to Mozilla 65 a few weeks ago, and ever since have been having random crashes. There is no warning, no consistency in which webpages causes it, and the crash report widget does not appear unless a crash occurs while I have multiple windows open. Occasionally, Mozilla will crash, then immediately crash again after relaunching, wiping out the "Restore previous session" history.
I can go a few hours without a crash, sometimes. The crashes generally do not occur when accessing a webpage, rather occur after I have been reading a webpage for some time. Most often the crashes occur when I wake my computer from sleep mode in the morning.
I checked two previous threads with the EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ crash reason, which suggested disabling hardware acceleration and preventing acessibility services from accessing your browser. Performed both steps, and the issue still occurred this morning. Does anyone have any other ideas?

One oddity here: The crash report states it was three weeks since the last crash. That is not true. The crashes occur daily, multiple times a day. It has been roughly three weeks since the crash report widget appeared.

One thing I would have suggested would be to try Firefox using Safe Mode. But the crash report showed the browser was running for 12 hours.
Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}
Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders
Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Linux: Check your user manual. If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it. See Install Firefox on Linux; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux
If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory. http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look for, and remove any Mozilla or Firefox program folders. Do not remove the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
Do Not remove any profile folders.

Thank you for the response. I do not have a registry scanner, but I followed the steps for the clean install. As the crashes occurred randomly after several hours, I will respond to this thread after some time has passed with the result.
After running for nearly twelve hours, another crash occurred. The crash report widget did not trigger, thus no report was generated.
No particular action was being taken when the crash occurred. The browser was idle while I was AFK, and had crashed by the time I returned.
What page/website was the browser on? Normal text, players, . . . .
Next time, place a blank page in the window.
Tab 1: Blogging platform (text, image, gifs, embedded videos, endless scrolling, etc) Tab 2: Gmail Tab 3: This thread Tab 4: Reddit Tab 5: A wiki (text, images, ads), active at the time of crash Tab 6: A news article (text, images)
For the blank page in the window: Do you mean close all tabs and keep only a single window on a blank page up for the 12 hours? Or, use one window as normal and keep a second window open on a blank page?
If something on one of those windows/tabs is causing the issue, you can do as I said. Or, only leave one of those tabs/windows open when you go away.
If you are leaving the computer for a while, leaving the browser only wastes energy.
Unless the computer is working on something, shut it down.
