font/size settings
I was told to post this as a new question.
I'm so frustrated about the font and size settings. While I type my text and copy/paste some text from elsewhere, the font and size are different, so you would think that like in outlook, you can select all the text and resize it to for example verdana and normal. Not so, the different bits of text remain different. So resizing and changing per text bit works and it then looks all the same to me.
However that is just so misleading, the recipient that gets my mail sees the text in different size/fonts ??? When the recipient replies I now get to see the different fonts and size as well.
I do like thunderbird because you see the mails of all acounts in one window, and you can set a main password for thunderbird.

When you paste content from another application, don't do a normal paste, Ctrl+V, but Paste Without Formatting, Ctrl+Shift+V.
Thanks, this does solve the problem if text is copied from elsewhere.
Still I hope there is a setting that can solve this as well, not many know about the Ctrl+Shift+V possibility I guess.
It would be very nice if you can select all text in the mail to change it to the wanted font/size (like in outlook).
If you want to change the font that is embedded in the message, Ctrl+A to select all of the message, then Format/Font and Format/Size to apply. Keep in mind that recipients may override the fonts you send, or not see a particular font if it's not installed. Default settings are recommended.
To set the font and size that is displayed to you when composing or reading mail, the relevant settings are in Tools/Options/Display/Formatting/Fonts & Colors/Advanced.
