google hangouts video calls stopped working in XP
I know that XP is not officially supported, but hangouts calls worked in FF before, I made the last successful call several days ago. Now both on my and other person's computers which have the same OS (XP SP3) and FF (52.1.1) we get "plugin blocked"when trying to make a call (text messages are OK). Both googletalk plugins ( npgoogletalk.dll and npo1d.dll, ver 5.41.3.0) are installed and enabled. I tried to install the newer version of the plugin but got error 1612 - is it because it doesn't run on XP? Anyway, ver 5.41.3.0 worked perfectly till now. Can anything be done to make hangouts work again? (Do NOT tell me to change OS - I will not!!!)

May not help but the last to still support WinXP and Vista was Fx 52.9.0esr and not the old Fx 52.1.1 Release.

No. that did not help :( But I fixed 1612 error (it was in my registry) and installed the new googletalk plugin. It didn't help either.

Where does that appear? Are you placing the call directly on Hangouts or in a little frame in a Gmail page?
From https://hangouts.google.com/. I don't have it in gmail. The window for videochat opens, but instead of video there is a message "Plugin blocked Hangouts requires the Google Talk plugins to make calls. Click the unblock or trust button at the top of your browser to enable them. " Of course everything is enabled and allowed.
