Using TB 68.7.0 32 bit on WIN 8.1.

IMAP account sporadically shows a high percentage of usage (eg: 85%) even though there's only 190 messages in the INBOX. Internet provider claims it's a TB problem not theirs.

Any hints on how to solve this would be appreciated

TIA Doug

Right-click the folder, Properties, and note the Size on disk. Then right-click again, Compact. Does the Size on disk change?

No - the same before & after compacting. 193 messages & 350MB

Is this a Gmail account ? Who is email/internet provider?

NOT a Gmail account. Provider is WTC Communications, well established company that has hosted my web site for many years

Since it's an IMAP account, you can rebuild the Inbox by opening the profile folder (Help/Troubleshooting, click Open Folder), closing TB, opening the subfolder of ImapMail for the WTC account, deleting the Inbox and Inbox.msf file, then restarting TB. A new Inbox will be automatically created, and the contents will download from the IMAP server. Check the Size on disk to see if it's much smaller and the if usage decreases.
