Firefox blocks my attempts to open links, such as a file from Ancestry.com. It even prevents me from responding to a suggestion from Mozilla on how to correct the problem. All I get is this message: Blocked by X-Frame-Options Policy

An error occurred during a connection to support.mozilla.org.

Firefox prevented this page from loading in this context because the page has an X-Frame-Options policy that disallows it.

What do I do now? Frank Prothero.

Hi Frank, if you get errors about Frame Options, try this: right-click (or on a one-button mouse Ctrl+click) the error, expand the This Frame menu, and click Open Frame in New Tab.

That doesn't work for every situation because sometimes the framed page needs to stay in context, but it should help with normal pages that somehow got into a frame.
