sending emails

Hello,

I can get email in only three of my 5 accounts, all through the same SMTP server account. They all use to work. They are all @yahoo.com mail accounts going through ATT. (Screenshot 2)

I cannot send any emails any more. It keeps asking for my password which I enter but doesn't take and save. It then moves the email to my sent folder without having ever sent it. (Screenshot 1)

I love Thunderbird but I can't keep going to my email accounts directly to send emails.

Thanks

Marc

AT&T now requires secure mail keys in place of account passwords in TB. Remove the AT&T passwords in Saved Passwords in Options, restart TB, enter the key when prompted.

Thanks for your response.

Not sure that this is the issue though. I have 4 accounts that all use the same password. I can get into 2 and not the other 2. Just in case, where do I get the secure mail keys?

The keys are created on the AT&T site, following a link on the page I cited.

Thank you. They all work now except one. Still not sure why some needed the key while the others didn't all of a sudden. Have a GREAT day. See next post.

Still having an issue sending with one of the emails that didn't work before. It receives now (which it didn't before) but it still won't send. I tried changing the key twice but it still doesn't send. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Check that each account is sending on an smtp server with the same User Name. Remove all keys and passwords from Saved Passwords, restart TB, enter the newest secure key when prompted. You should receive multiple prompts, so make sure the entered key is the correct one.

Thanks for all your help. Still having issues sending from this one account. Not sure why. It receives OK. I reset everything, I think. It was the first, and only account for a while, that wouldn't let me send. In any case, the other accounts work fine and this is a secondary account I used when I was looking for work. If I do have to send something I will just use another account. Again, thanks for your time and help.
