I'm running TB 78.13.0 on a macbook. For some reason system folders such calendar-data and cert8.db appear in the email account as sub-folders - see image 'Unwanted folders Screenshot 2021-08-22 at 23.06.54'. If I delete these sub-folders they are moved into the Trash (Deleted folder) but instantly reappear. Moreover the deleted items cannot be removed from the Trash - see image 'Deleted folders Screenshot 2021-08-22 at 23.09.31 '.

close Thunderbird and delete the foldertree.json file from the profile folder and restart.
