When downloading saving and renaming an attachment - the first digit of the file extension goes missing.

For eg while saving a pdf file under a new name the file gets saved as a ".df" file instead of a ".pdf" file Same thing happens with other file types as well.

This does not happen when file is saved as it is (without name modification)

This has already been reported as a bug. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1747828

Alternative if wanting to edit filename: Only edit the bit before the extension. Example: Attachment called 'IMG_9100.JPG' edited filename: testimage.JPG Save as type: JPEG Image (*JPG) Resulting save is 'testimage.JPG' Result no truncating of filename extension
