I can't access my online bank account using Firefox, but have no problem doing so with Chrome. What gives?

My apologies. The bank eventually admitted they had made an error in updating their website and that using Firefox on their website might produce login errors. Thank you for your efforts. And also for your suggestions. I will use them the next time i encounter issues with their website. At least this time it only took them 2 or 3 days to admit their mistake. The specific error message was:

Sorry, invalid login. Please verify the account number and/or Password you entered. (Error: C24N)

Again, my apologies about the false alarm. And thank you for your response.

One problem may be Enhanced Privacy Protection, by default enabled everywhere, which could block the cookies necessary for banking websites. To turn off for the banking website: 1. Click the shield icon to the left of the address bar 2. Toggle Enhanced Privacy Protection off You might also have Strict Privacy Protection (very different from Enhanced Privacy Protection) turned on. To disable this: 1. Type in about:preferences#privacy in the address bar 2. Choose Standard instead of Strict

This could also be a problem with your extensions. Content blockers like ad blockers can cause websites to malfunction. Try disabling all extensions on the banking website or reopening the website in a private window.
