I want to clear shortcuts on my home contents page. Yes, I know I can hide them via settings button on the top right, but I want to delete all of them, and want to restart from a clean state. Please help.

That is not possible as those shortcuts are generated automatically from websites you visit. This is the same as some recent list that Firefox can show for recent history and recent bookmarks. You would have to pin a custom page to each of the tiles to prevent Firefox from filling them.

You can clear browsing history with Ctrl+Shift+Del.
