My email DannyDelRay@hotmail.com stopped sending & Retrieving. There's no 0Auth2 Option in my SMTP setup for the Microsoft Outlook or 365 servers so I can't overcome this issue. I have downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird and still no option for that. What do I do. This is quite important to me. I appreciate your help. Of course, for now I can retrieve my email via Outlook but I have 20 differnt emails I collect with TBird and I'm not about to change mail clients.

TBird version : 128.0.1esr (64-bit) I just updated to this version but it would not update automatically via the about Thunderbird window. That just would not update for me so I had to download and update the latest version from your site.

NOTE : I have not tried deleting the hotmail account and reinstalling it because I want to make sure this 0Auth2 thing has been tried first.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Chosen solution

the incoming server should probably be outlook.office365.com

You just made me think of something here. I Originally had the server settings set up with imap-mail.outlook.com and outgoing to: smtp-mail.outlook.com

I changed the SMTP to smtp-office365.com to get the 0Auth2 to work but I did not change the outgoing mail server settings to imap-office365.com

Also I have a keyportdan@live.com email which I made the changes to and that worked but somehow the other email DannyDelRay@hotmail.com is not responding even with the changes.

I'm going to reboot my PC to see if it clears things up because when I restart TB I'm seeing notifications pop up that "Can't connect to server - server refused" or something like that for all accounts. So I will get back to you with my results shortly - thanks for the insight.
