Had pc problems,assume with OS. I fitted problem PC HDD to second pc as a slave, I saved many of sites visited as tabs rather than bookmarks. Is it possible to recover these tabs, Are they logged somewhere , Firefox is on both HDD.s.

Yes - the tabs are saved in a file called sessionstore.js in your profile folder. You can back up this file and transfer it to your current profile to get your tabs back. (Do this with Firefox closed.)
