I recently had a problem with Firefox and my Hotmail account. I wasn't being able to log out of my account properly. I came across a solution in Firefox help, which told me to delete my cookies. Since deleting the cookies I can now log out of Hotmail properly but a new problem has arrived with my Facebook account since deleting the cookies. The page doesn't load, I can't chat nor play games. Could any plz help me out with the problem bcuz it is unbearable. Thanks much.

You need to enable third party cookies if you want to log out from Hotmail. Doing that will give you a lot of extra cookies, so I remove the Hotmail cookies (live.com and passport.net) myself.

A quick way to see the cookies from the website in the current tab is to click the favicon at the left side of the location bar A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab in "Tools > Page Info". You can inspect the cookies if you click the "View Cookies" button on the Security tab in "Tools > Page Info". You can select all cookies in that window with Shift + cursor Down after you have selected the first cookie and press the "Delete" key or click "Remove Cookie" to remove the selected cookies. Clear the search bar in the Cookie Manager to see all cookies.

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
