The anoying website "partypoker.com" keeps on appearing. It opens in a new window. I want to block the complete website from opening, how do i do this?

Blocking just the cookies wont work. Block popup-windows is turned on. Blocking websites from opening a new tab dont work too.

Malware programs cant detect an infected registry entry. Antivirus programs dont find a virus on my system.

You can look at Adblock Plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/1865

You need to subscribe to a Filter list (e.g. the EasyList): http://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions

Adblock Plus forum: https://adblockplus.org/forum/

Thanx for the reply, co-rel!

Unfortunatly Adblock Plus doesnt seem to block: http://www.partypoker.com/td/videopop/poker_vid_multiplay.htm?wm=3260265

I blocked cookies from partypoker.com, and added partypoker.com to the blocklist of Adblock. Still it appears.

Since blocking cookies the images are not shown anymore, but there is still a new window, now with plain html text; less anoying, but stil a pain in the *ss

What i seem to need is a way to block certain websites from opening. An build-in option in firefox to block unwanted websites or webadresses, without the need of a plugin.

Just a standard option in the privacy tab of firefox-options. Call me old-fashioned, but i think this works the best.

Btw. surfing is much faster with Adblock plus installed, again, co-rel, thanx for the advice!

No energy spend on loading all those ads anymore, great!
