Whenever I connect to FireFox, I get the same error message: "502 - Cannot find server or DNS Error" This has been going on for the past 2 months. I don't know how to fix it. I can use all of the Yahoo toolbar functions and can send and receive e-mail. But now my FireFox is very, very slow sending messages and opening messages.

suggestions:

  • try making a new profile, testing for the issue there (not a solution, just a troubleshooting step)
  • check that you are not using a proxy on system-wide level
  • update Firefox to 3.6.10 at http://getfirefox.com
