Can I download firefox to a disc on another computer and transfer it to my home pc that way?

I updated firefox to the newest version and it wouldn't work (something about the proxy server) so I stupidly tried to fix it by using the restore program. I then realized that the old firefox was uninstalled when I downloaded the new updated version and now I have no way to get on the internet at home.

Yes, all you have to do is go to: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html

Download the setup program to a flash drive (or write it to a CD) and take it to the other machine and run it.

You could, but it would be easier to download it but not install it and copy it to a memory stick or CD. Then install it on the other computer
