The updated version of Firefox is missing a search window and doesn't display my Google toolbar. How can I restore these two features?

The updated Firefox is missing two features I use regularly. The Google Toolbar space is a blank area and and in the Menu bar there is no search window at the right end.

  • In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
  • Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
  • Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

I got the search bar back. Thanx...

Even though "Google Toolbar" is toggled in VIEW - TOOLBARS, I still have only a blank space where the it should appear. I've reloaded Google Toolbar to no avail. How do I get it to appear?

Also my Bookmarks Toolbar aren't visible on my page as they used to be.

To get them I must go through the slow process of clicking on Bookmarks, then manually using each of the pull down choices under Bookmark Toolbars????
