How do I eliminate outdated User-IDs that want to autofill in web sites?

I have old, outdated USER-IDs that appear in the pull-downs of Login boxes of a number of websites, with some sort of autofill. I would like to eliminate the old entries. For example, when I login to my bank's web site, I'm prompted to fill in my User-Id. I type the first letter of my User-Id (in this case, an "F") and I get a pull down from the box that gives me several old choices that also begin with "F." The bank IT person tells I need to dump the old choices in Firefox, but I can't figure out how to do it. I've searched thru Firefox Help, but I don't find anything.

1. You can clear the Search and form history to clear all autocomplete entries.

2. You can clear each incorrect entry when it appears.

If remembering passwords is enabled then you can also check the Firefox Password Manager to see if theyare saved there.
