Suddenly Can't Log In to Twitter
Was working fine a couple of days ago, haven't added anything in the meantime. I can't login through the Twitter site, or use Shareholic or sharing links on sites to post to Twitter. I can post fine through Seesmic Desktop, but not on the web. Can login through Iron or IE fine.
I've cleared my cookies, run CCleaner, checked for updates, etc.
I was using a video site the other day, Watch Series, which changed it's URL from a .com to a .eu, and could not use that through Twitter, but figured that was their problem, since I could view it fine with other browsers.
Right after that is when I could suddenly not login to Twitter.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
See:
- Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
- Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
- Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
- Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
Nope, doesn't work in safe mode either. I get a sign-in box, but it won't take. I only use the default theme, never used any special themes.
ETA: Uninstalled and reinstalled...no joy. Can sign in fine in Iron or IE.
ETA: Did another clean install, restored everything through a MozBackup restore. Still no joy. Reading that others are having this same problem.

I found out what was wrong. I had bookmarked some pages on a site today, and evidently, they corrupted the bookmarks file. I restored with a stored HTML from a couple of days ago, and now I can sign in fine. Of course, I had to do a clean install, and now have to reinstall all my add-ons, but life goes on.
Be aware that using software like CCleaner can cause problems with files in the Firefox Profile Folder.
It is always better to use build-in Firefox means to cleanup and remove personal data.
