I just upgraded to Firefox 4.0 and when its in windowed mode (not full-screen) and i click on the bookmarks it sticks out past the browser to the right then after selecting my bookmark the right side of the bookmark menu that was sticking out past the right side of the browser remains imprinted on my desktop. I can drag the browser window over it and it acts like an eraser and erases it.

I've temporarily moved the bookmarks icon to the left side of the browser using customize toolbar to fix this that way the bookmarks menu doesn't extend out of the border of the browser.

I wish I could attach a screenshot it would be easier to show what its doing, thanks.

I'd like to cancel this post its the next day and it seems to be working good now no more imprinting on the desktop. The only thing I changed was turning windows aero on but i don't know if that had anything to do with it.

It seems to only affect the Win7 basic theme. Is there a fix for this (other than turning on Aero, which I hate).

You could try my temporary fix if you don't want to turn windows aero on which is right clicking to the right of the tabs and choosing customize which opens a customize toolbar box then you can grab the bookmarks icon and drag it to the very left where it used to be I believe, afterwards click done in the box that opened. When its on the left side none of the bookmarks menu sticks out past the browser so it won't cause any imprinting.

Or maybe they're working on a fix for this I'm not sure, hope this helps till they do, have a good one!
