My "back" and "forward buttons are disabled/not working on FF 4.0

I downloaded Firefox 4.0 and installed/updated and when it started I no longer can use the "back" button (<-). The only way to get back to previous pages is to use "history"

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I fixed the placesxxx? folder and now my back arrows are working again!!!! :) Thank you soooo much! I originally went back to Firefox 3.1xx but after reinstalling 4.0 i fixed the places folder and it worked! Awesome TY

You can also RIGHT click your mouse onto certain areas of a page in the window, and if there are pages to go back to, it will say Back, Forward, Reload and other options.
