I do not install Adobe Flash Player because many web sites have annoying ads, but I would like to view some content that requires it. Is there a way to be able to watch content that I want to and not watch advertisments?

I do not want to view flash based ad's. I do not want to be interrupted by flash content unless I really want to view it. Is it possible to install Flash Player but not have it automatically play contentent?

You can do that with the Flashblock add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/flashblock

That add-on blocks Flash content, but gives you the option of allowing to show it when you choose.
