Just upgraded to FF8 and now when I click on a link from a twitter client, it doesn't open up the site. This was working fine in previous versions.

FF is set as my default browser but since FF8 there have been many basic functional problems.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
