I'm using version 10.0 on a Mac, and recently Firefox takes forever to initially load, then takes longer than usual to load any pages

I'm also noticing my laptop makes more noise when trying to load firefox and when I browse pages, while Safari doesn't do that. The sound is that of it 'processing' the information- if that makes sense. It's really being pokey in general- but especially when first opening even after I restart. Sometimes the loading circle in the upper left hand corner gets stuck when loading pages.

Hi wrighton,

We have a help section on long start up times which might be helpful. There is also another section for page load issues.

There is a lot of good troubleshooting information in those sections.

Hopefully this helps!
