I used to love Firefox devotedly. Now, with Foxsmark install, everytime I exit, it tried to sync and just stay there, freeze... I can't close firefox AT ALL. Also, it hoard up so much virtual memory 121MB???!!! Why, oh why? I ain't even opening more than 2 tabs... I hate it so much now I have to uninstall it. I am now using Chrome at home and IE at work... Why Firefox is becoming so slow... What happened?

Foxmarks is now xmarks and when I visited their site it says :" Access to this site has been blocked as per Court Orders"

So, I would recommend to use another synchronization service or infact use firefox's built-in sync feature.

See if this happen in Safe-mode , if this is not happen then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe Mode start window to disable all extensions.

Close and restart Firefox after each change from File > Exit
