when i open firefox browser there is a white screen and it says No Site Configured At This Address?

when i open firefox it displays a blank white screen with the words "no site configured at this address". what does this mean and how can i fix this? i tried reinstalling firefox and cleared cache. it used to display my yahoo homepage. it wont now unless i type in to address bar.

Could you check your home page setting here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > General

There might be a typo or other problem with the URL.

I have the same problem and am about to take Firefox off and go back to IE.

Hi EdAmbrogi, could you indicate:

(1) When you have this problem, does the address in the URL bar match the address you set for your home page? (In case it is getting hijacked somehow...)

(2) If you do a "hard" reload bypassing the cache (Ctrl+Shift+r) does the page appear correctly?

(3) If you click the Home button or press Alt+Home does the home page load correctly?

I only have the problem on my hp mini netbook. it works fine on my desktop. but thanks for the information!!

Thanks so much, that was it! The URL was missing for some reason. Thank you again for your help.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it keeping my settings upon re installation. This solved the problem. My next step was to use IE although I prefer Firefox. Thanks for all the help to everyone.
