I can't find out where to make the change so when I open a new tab it opens to a Mozilla start page instead of a blank. Thanks

hello kodi2011, you can change the site that opens in a new tab like this:

enter about:config into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up), search for the preference named browser.newtab.url, double-click it & change its value to the website you want to see (the default is about:newtab, for the firefox homepage use about:home or fill in any other url).

madperson,

Thanks much. I was somewhat nervous about doing that. I am not very experienced with computers but you instructions were right on. Thanks again.
