my address bar changed to google chrome and I lost all my firefox addresses-why?

more options

the bar at the top of my screen let me access all the addresses that I use every day. Now the bar has the google chrome bullseye on it and none of the former addresses. I uses firefox exclusively and it seems like Google is invading my space

That's strange. Your address bar has been taken over by something different?

Could you check the following tab for any unknown or recent additions, and disable ALL nonessential extensions?

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

After restarting, any change?

You also could try customizing the toolbar in case the standard URL bar needs to be restored (drag it from the dialog back to the bar). To get started, either:

  • right-click a blank area of the tab bar > Customize
  • tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars > Customize

And finally, if it's a matter of the standard Navigation Toolbar being hidden and replaced by a different bar, you should be able to use these to turn bars on and off as desired:

  • right-click a blank area of the tab bar
  • tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars

Any luck?

You might want to grab a screenshot at some point. This article has tips on that: How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
