WHY CAN'T I SYNC MY X-MARKS BOOKMARKS?

more options

Mac Book Air running 10.8 Firefox 21 I use X Marks to safely hold my bookmarks. Would never allow Mozilla to backup my years of surfing. I have tried at least fifteen (15) times using multiple ways. including re-setting my password to snyc my bookmarks since up grading (?) to FF 21. downloaded a fresh copy of FF 21 losing ALL my add ons { can you say pain in the a$$ } results the same. The result always is a spinning wheel of inactivity, resulting in having to force quit Firefox. Well what next ?

Using X-Marks and Sync is complicated. You would either need to use the bookmarks available on the browser or use X-marks's sync program.

What I am trying to do, very unsuccessfully I might add, is to continue to use X-Marks to "sync" my new bookmarks. I do not use the sync feature of Fire Fox.

Previous to installing FF 21 I was able to use X-Marks to save my bookmarks in the cloud safe and sound, I can even go look at them any time I felt the need.
The problem is, what once worked very well is now unable to function, so my question again, are other people { who use X-marks } to save their bookmarks having a problem with Fire Fox?

If so how are you handling it?
