FF12 32 bit worked fine...(Ive been offline awhile). So I thought - hey, waterfox, 64 bit, lets try it! Although WF works great; I am no longer able to use any 32 bit browsers. I tried upgrading to IE 10 - nope; neither 10 or 9 would even load. FF and Opera both said 'no internet connection' or some such. I upgraded to FF22 - which caused even moe trouble, because FF22 wiped out waterfox and if not for win7 restore, I would not be able to access the internet at all. And youtube downloader dosen't work anymore, either.

What is Waterfox?
Did you download it from a trustworthy source?

Run a complete scan for viruses, malware and bad registries.

Does the issue still occur when you run Windows in Safe Mode?

waterfax is the 64 bit version of FF - google it. My source was Cnet. All scans are negative, i use bitdefender and ARO for registry. I had to use safe mode to use restore after the FF22 debacle - and btw; I also did a total uninstall/reinstall of FF22. But I will try using 32 bit browsers in safe mode.

Make sure that you create a separate profile folder for each browser.

Do a custom install and install each version in its own program folder to use multiple Firefox versions.
Make sure not to start Firefox after the installation has finished.
Create a new profile exclusively for each Firefox version.
Create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch each Firefox version with its own profile.
