I know where you can stick the Updated Ad Blocker for Firefox - but I will refrain from saying exactly where so as not to offend anyone. When it is ON I cannot get news videos to run on Sky Australia (skynews.com.au) because a video advertisement precedes every news video. Therefore the video will not run. BUT. ..in "options" it says you can list a site that you don't want ads blocked. Oh, terrific, I thought. Oh yair! It works ONCE only and then no more. Over and over I have tried it and the same every time. It works the first time you click skynews.com.au but next time no ads again - and of course no videos. So I check the options. Yes, my TWO listings skynews.com.au AND Sky News Australia are still listed but the AD BLOCKER took absolutely no notice. Why doesn't the inventor gets these add ons right before putting them on Firefox. (No answer to this hypothetical question. I bet.)

Chosen solution

Plus, Updated Ad Blocker is an experimental add-on, not a full release add-on and doesn't have a support site listed on the download page.

I suggest Adblock Plus, which is a mature add-on which offers a full support forum for issues such as you are experiencing.

Hi the edmeister: Thank you for your help. Have installed Adblock Plus and will see how I go. I did not know about this one. Sounds much better. Cheers.
