I lost my send button-do I need to download Thunderbird 17 to get help before trying solution provided?
I hit a key by accident and my send button disappeared. One help idea was to use the 'application menu" on thunderbird 17; there were specific steps-but I don't know the version of Thunderbird I have now. is there an easier way to get the send button back?-If I must download thunderbird 17 first, fine, but I need help in doing that also. This is a most bothersome thing-this is the second time this has happened-why is it such a vulnerable problem-why does the toolbar disappear so easily?
Chosen solution
In the main menu bar of the compose window: View - Toolbars Check 'Composition Toolbar'.
In case the menu bar is hidden as well press Alt or F10 to bring it back.
I don't know what you do that your menu bar disappears, but it really isn't hard to bring it back.
