Hello, Long time user and lover. Never had any problems with your great browser. This past week, on my phone, Firefox has been flagged "high battery background usage" and is continuously trying to put app to deep sleep. What has happened? How do I stop this? Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated Thanks Scott

It was a nice ride while it lasted

My upper Apple menu is not visible unless I move the cursor up to the top of screen. This is the menu bar which includes the File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window, Help, icons and clock. I can't find how to correct this.

When using chat software, there may be shortcut key conflicts, and the sidebar will still open when using shortcut keys even after being closed.

In the settings, the AI robot is turned off, but when using shortcut keys, the options for the AI robot will still be turned on by itself and cannot be turned off.

Currently I can not access any website through firefox without a VPN. Other browsers are working without a VPN. I wonder if now China is blocking the firefox browser. Never had this trouble until today. Maybe it is a new setting i am missing or unaware of?

Why can't I sync computer bookmarks to iPhone? I can't get my iPhone to show up on list of connected devices. I've tried everything in Help. I have a Mozilla Account. Running 135.0.1

From the Firefox Start Page on my iPhone (running 18.3.1) . . . the menu in the bottom right hand corner does not give me the option to "Sync and Save Data". This is a roadblock for me! I'm not a computer genius but I'm not completely ignorant. I just heard the disheartening news that Mozilla just removed its long-standing promise to never sell peoples’ data…and inserted language giving themselves worldwide license to use the information entered in Firefox. Where can I find these new terms? How did I miss this?

What is the point of using Mozilla now, why bother?

Dear all, can you please help? I am trying to login to my bank First Direct. When clicking on First Direct bookmark I receive a error message.

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.firstdirect.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Hello from down under. I have local install Thunderbird 128.7.1esr (64-bit) on my Win 11 Pro and running well. I use it for my business. I have latest Thunderbird portable downloaded from portableapps on my removable drive. I intend to use it for my personal emails. I tried to execute the portable version while running the local version. It won't allow me to run it and this error message appeared. I thought the portable version should be isolated and run within the removable drive. Is there a way to run both at the same time?

I've been using Thunderbird on my Win10 PC for many many years, (and donated to Mozilla) and all has been fine till mid December. Emails still work fine on my Android phone and tablet using the Gmail app for my main Gmail email address and K9 app for an old email address, but on my PC using Thunderbird they both suddenly stopped around mid December. I can't give an exact date as I'm now disabled so only use my PC every fortnight or so just to keep everything up to date.

Thunderbird is using the server settings recommended by Melbpc group and they haven't changed for years. I also use Nord VPN which recently underwent what seemed a major upgrade so I turned that off - no difference.

I then tried manually instigating a download of my primary Gmail email on the pc using Thunderbird and watched as it said "connecting to  imap.gmail.com", then "connected to imap.gmail.com" but then nothing happened.

Everything is totally up to date - Win 10, Thunderbird etc..

Can anybody suggest what the cause might be please?

I can run Thunderbird, but new email doesn't load. For example, the most recent email is yesterday at 5:44 pm. What could it be and what can I do? When I shut down last night, my computer did an automatic update. Could that have screwed things up?

Not all the time, but enough to be annoying. I delete a message with an attachment and get a message the the attachment will be deleted before I can delete the message. See following image. Running an iMac, 10.14.6. Thanks, Gary
