Firefox prevents me from accessing a web page
Clicking on a Submit button that has always worked on a site, I suddenly get this popup "Oops, Our Bad. The server experienced a slight hiccup. Please resubmit your entry and Try Again"
This so-called 'slight hiccup' is permanent. Does "The Server" mean their server, or Firefox? How do I fix this? I can submit just fine from Internet Explorer. Thanks

Hey, first you should always make sure Firefox is properly connected to the net. If it is firstly try clearing your cookies and cache: 1. Click the menu button , choose History and select Clear Recent History. 2. In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, select Everything . 3. Click the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that can be cleared. 4. Select both Cookies and Cache. 5. Click Clear Now.
If the problem still persists it may be as a result of Firefox being blocked by an anti virus software. Check the settings of your system's anti virus and ensure Firefox is not blocked. If it is, add to the software's trusted list. If it is already in the trusted list remove Firefox and add it again.
Some malware may also prevent Firefox from functioning properly. Ensure to check for malware.

Thank you for the steps, lyanu-IO. I followed your suggestions but still have the same problem. My Trend Micro is supposed to be quite good, and MSFT also checked for malware. The tech of the malfunctioning site said they have not heard of this particular problem, and had no suggestions. I has got to be a Firefox prob. since it works from Internet Explorer. So, how can I get in touch with FF help/ more suggestions? Thanks

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
- In previous Firefox versions, click on the Firefox button at the top left of the Firefox window and click on Help (or click on Help in the Menu bar, if you don't have a Firefox button) then click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
As for suggestions I think I have a few more. 1. You should try rebooting your system (sometimes a system gets a little bogged down)
2. Try disabling Ipv6. Firefox supports IPv6 by default, which may cause connection problems on certain systems. To disable IPv6 in Firefox: 1. In the Location bar , type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page. 2. In the Search field, type network.dns.disableIPv6. 3. In the list of preferences, double-click network.dns.disableIPv6 to set its value to true .
3. If all else fails kindly re-install Firefox (it's definitely worth it).
