I'm receiving an email repeatedly, that was only sent once...help?
So far, I've received the same email about 100 times from one of my contacts. It has a bigger file attached to it. Thunderbird says it's downloading "1 of 43 emails...", but it never gets passed one or two copies of this same email. I've checked with the sender, and she's had her IT guys checking it. Only one email was sent to me from their account. I've forced quit Thunderbird, changed my password, updated Thunderbird, and nothing has changed.
When I go directly to my yahoo account, this email doesn't show up, and I can receive new emails. Help???

Disable email scanning in your anti virus program. Reboot and allow the mail to download. Turn the anti virus back on after if you like.
Anti virus programs having a fit over a single mail and the single most common cause if this. If disabling the anti virus does not work, it may be the mail is corrupt on the server and you will need to delete it on the server and get it resent. (rare, but it does happen. More often with Yahoo properties for some reason)
I really appreciate your help! Unfortunately, it didn't fix it. I'm not sure how to delete mail off a server :/ Where do I find the server?
