If I already have the Tor browser installed, can I also install firefox and run it independent of Tor sometimes?

I like the fact that Tor is anonymous, but I don't always need the anonymity when I surf the net. Just want to know if I install FF as well if they will open and run independent of each other. Kind of like running Chrome and IE at the same time.

As they are separate programs, there should be no problem. But watch for any issues. There are many times I run Firefox and another browser at the same time.
