In Firefox - Tools > General under Downloads, select Ask me where to save files. Then when you are viewing an image in your email, right-click the image and use Save image as .... - then select the folder where you want that image saved.

ok, now I can save, thanks why do have to try to find a special program to open a jpeg? This is just crazy. Thanks Patty

if there are more than one pic, why is it being saved as compressed zip? I just want to save individual jpegs so that I can access what I want. Are these things specifically designed to drive us crazy? Why cant I talk to someone so that I can get this resolved? Yikes!!!!!!!!
