Turned off Cntl+a by accident, how do I turn it back on
One can highlight all the emails in say junk for instance and erase them in one go or drag and drop them to a selected place. I have managed to turn this very useful short cut off and can't find where I did it. can anyone tell me where to go to turn it back on please. Cheers.

Thanks all. I found the solution. I had created a short cut that used Ctrl+a for selecting the calculator and that stopped the select all from working. When I removed it Ctrl + a for the calculator selecting all worked again.

The only thing I know that influences key stroke shortcuts is the keyconfig add-on, and I don't think that's something you'd have or change by accident.
Does ctrl+a work in other contexts? Is it perhaps a system-wide disabling of the function?
Thank you for the reply. Yes it's a system wide characteristic
