i see other people login / username cached to my browser
Firefox 42.0 MAC 10.10.2
I was trying to login to a website, and I see 2 other people emails (along with mine) cached as the list of possible login.
How is it possbile? My FF is not sync.. All I only use FF on this device and this device operated in a VPN network.
Your help and input is much appreciated.

Has or does anyone else use your computer?
You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Hi FredMcD:
Thanks for the reply. This is my work computer so I'm only person using it.
It currently has McAfee antivirus and is up to date (per history, McAffe update daily..) I will run a full scan to see if it catches anything.
Beyond that, any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Stanley
Unless you can find out who the other usernames belong to . . . . . . Ask your IT about it.
Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:
- click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
- highlight an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key - press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry
