When I try to forward certain emails, my message cuts off. If I reply to the email, the text shows correctly. When I forward an email, part of the forwarded email will be attached as an "Attached Message Part." I want it all to appear inline and have the settings set to inline.

I use Thunderbird 45.3.0 on El Capitan 10.11.6

As a note, this appears to happen most often when the mail is sent from Apple Mail and includes an attachment.

is the attachment the email. Thunderbird displays attached email messages "inline" but what it does to display a message has no bearing on the actual structure of the message when forwarded. So clicking forward will leave you seeing the actual body of the message only. The attachment part will not be shown.

On the message menu is "display attachments inline. Turn it off and I think you will observer your mail will suddenly be "truncated" in the display as well as forward. That is what the email really looks like.

No, there is no problem with the attachment. The attachment is forwarded perfectly. The actual text of the email that I am forwarding gets cut off and attached as "Attached Message Part" instead of being in the text of the email.

I tried toggling the "display attachments inline" and it did not help my issue. My issue is with forwarding, not displaying, emails.
