videos taking over an hour to download in the new video download helper plugin

before the most recent upgrade yesterday, it took 3 to 4 minutes for Video Download helper to finish downloading a video. But after the new Firefox update, and the newly revamped Video Download helper, it takes a most unreasonable amount of time to download one video from Twitter.
