Hello bkallem,

You will find a link to contact them at the bottom of this page :

https://support.dashlane.com/hc/en-us/articles/202699011-How-to-check-your-Dashlane-extension-in-Firefox

Please go over the article first ....

May I ask why you don't save yourself some money and use Firefox Password Manager instead ?

Hello billm4805,

Would you please take a look at my post, directed at "bkallem" ?

I would like to suggest the same to you : use Firefox Password Manager instead of Dashlane and save yourself some money (and problems) .....

I have this problem too with the free version of Dashlane. I cannot find Dashlane on the list of possible extensions though it always used to be there.

If I switch to FF Password manager will all my passwords transfer - seamlessly??? and free??

Firefox Password Manager (like all Mozilla products) is free !

I spent the last hour trying to find a way to export passwords from Dashlane, but couldn't find it, so I gave up - maybe you could contact Dashlane (see the link in my post directed at bkallem) ?

I don't use a password manager myself; I'm my own password manager - I'm safe, efficient, easy to use and don't cost a dime : I use good ol' fashioned pen and paper to write down my passwords .....

I can export my passwords from Dashlane but how do I import them into Firefox. I cannot find info on Firefox how to do this and there are about 150 of them!

What kind of file does Dashlane create when you export the passwords ?

Firefox prefers JSON format to make it possible to import logins. If you have another format (XML or CSV) then you would have to convert this file to JSON format.

It's EXCEL at the moment. I have just tried 'Save As' but the format JSON isn't offered. I have a feeling I'm getting out of my depth here....
