After updating Firefox even if I have managed to backup and restore my profile, Firefox doesn't accept my account password which I clearly remember because I had annotated it in a personal notebook. Anyway trying to overcome the problem and synchronize in two different laptops I have asked for my password to be restored. The system tells me that an e-mail will be sent to my e-mail account with instructions and/or code to reset password but no e-mail has reached my e-mail account.

I've noticed that sometimes the emails are very slow to arrive, so you will probably want to give it some time to arrive.

That said, based on when you posted this question, it should have arrived by now. If it hasn't make sure to check your junk/spam folder on your email account.

Unfortunately, some email services (Yahoo is one I can think of off the top of my head) have a nasty habit of blocking emails that they believe are spam. Unlike normal filtering where the email will still appear in the junk folder, the emails are often blocked entirely by the provider.

If you are still having issues after requesting a password reset again, perhaps it would be a good idea to ask your email provider if they are blocking certain emails.

Hope this helps.
