If I can have help from -Toad-Hall - he was the one who helped me the last time I came for support here and this question is related the the help he gave me earlier.

In Mozilla it began to have several "Sub-folders" in the INBOX folder, and come to find out I had them with Spectrum's Web Mai program. I called four days ago, they came in my PC and saw the mess, and I was helped this time, Today Spectrum fixed their Web-mail program and I DO NOT have the sub-folders any longer. But, last week, before Spectrum fixed their browser's Webmail, (the reason why I called the again) I found out that the Trash folder did not show the emails I was deleting! I had deleted an email by mistake, I immediately went to the Trash folder to retrieve it and the Trash folder was empty!!! I would say that there would be at least 150 emails in the Trash folder but none can be seen. That is when I called Spectrum, after several calls they have finally fixed their webmail program and all the sub-folders in the Inbox folder, and the multiple JunkMail, Junk Mail.... are all gone. Also, while I was in Spectrum's Webmail a while ago, I deleted emails and they showed up in Spectrum's Trash folder, and, then I came to Mozilla, and they are in the Trash in Mozilla also. But, if I delete the emails in Mozilla itself, the emails do not go in the Trash folder, they are not in there, I do not know where they go! In the Spectrum's webmail program before they fixed the program, where all the sub-folders were under the Inbox, there was another Trash folder as a sub folder there too, and a Deleted Messages sub folder also, so, I am wondering if that was "the Trash folder for Mozilla". Although Toad-Hall had told me that what Spectrum's Webmail "through the Browser" shows will come as is in Mozilla, but maybe one of the Trash Folder was a Mozilla folder!!!??? I am very confused and do not know what is happening. But one good thing is that there is no longer sub folders in the Inbox folder, nor any more as Folders that are not supposed to be there. So can anyone help me figure out where do the emails I delete in Mozilla goes to? In Spectrum I delete them, they go in the Trash Folder, in Mozilla I delete them and the do not go in the Trash Folder, they are gone!!! Thank you so much for your time.

I am back to let you know that I fixed the Trash issue. In Mozilla, I went to Tools, Account Settings, Server Settings, and found that were it says "When I delete a message" under to where it says "Move it to this folder" in the bar it showed: ".. to move in my INBOX!!! Of course I changed it "Move it the Trash"! I did not know about that ability to change things, but I just checked around why this was happening, I have not changed that setting and that is why I lost all the Deleted emails since I don't know when! Now, my emails I delete are going into the Trash Folder!

If this helps is read by someone who has this problem, go check your Server Settings...

Thank you for your time whoever will read this from Mozilla.

I have this problem also but I do not have a Trash folder option on the said drop down list. On my normal folder list, the "Trash" folder appears under local folders. Im not sure if this is normal or not.

Any help would be appreciated, Ant

I think the your Trash folder is placed correctly. I don't have a drop down menu in Trash either in Mozilla, but it has it in the Browser's Webmail company of my first email address! In Mozilla you "Right click to see the drop down menu" in my Webmail program there is an arrow going down to bring the drop down menu! The problem I had was caused by the Browser's Webmail server, the company of my E-mail address was messed up and had multiple folders that would create themselves, and I could not delete multiple folders in their webmail program, and that mess reflected in my Mozilla Thunderbird folders. I contacted them, they need the Technicians to fix the problems in their webmail program/server and now Mozilla folders have changed also to reflect what the Webmail program have. I use Mozilla because I have a second E-mail address and I have both email servers/programs in Mozilla this way I don't have to go to the two different E-mail servers/webmails every time I want to look if I received E-mails or send some. So if you also use Mozilla look into your email address' company's browser Webmail, the problem, if you have one, will be in there!
