Using google to search online I have started to get this page almost every time I type in a search word. (About this page

Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?

IP address: 92.40.187.37 Time: 2020-08-01T13:05:50Z URL: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=dvla+tax)

then I have to go thru a series of pictures choosing squares with traphic lights or buses to prove I am not a robot.

the only thing that has changed in my house is that I am now connecting using my iphone as a hotspot. this does not happen if I use Google Chrome as my browser.

Thanks

Steve

It sounds like a problem with Google. Check with their support.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
