i cant find the import option to get my old maps from imac elcapitan mail. It still stay grey. gr. Peter

i cant find the import option to get my old maps, personal maps, on my imac, Import option in thunderfird still stay grey. 

imac from early 200, elcapitan, runs al these years with apple mail. now mail jums out when i open it.

Then i make my incoming mail empty in web mail, and then runs it. That the reason i want to go to Thunderbird.

Export the mail from Apple Mail to .mbox files, extract the mbox file that can be read by TB, and copy it into the profile folder:
