I've recently moved from Windows 10 mail to Thunderbird as I was having problems setting up pop3 in Windows 10 Mail.

I use this for the small business I own/run, and when quoting customers previously I'd take a screen copy and paste it into the email which worked fine. However now the pasted image appears huge, pretty much double the size it was when using Windows 10 Mail. My email signature image is also appearing roughly twice the size as it was before.

It's almost like the resolution in the email is incorrect. Is there any way of adjusting this so embedded images are a more normal size?

Any constructive input appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, you're going to upgrade back to Windows 10. I don't advise Thunderbird to anyone, I could write to Windows support. And not immediately transfer, so just transfer everything back. Your volunteer Karain

Hello,

Thunderbird embeds images at the size that they are normally, including image signatures. You can get past this limitation by resizing your image either outside (for the signature) or inside Thunderbird (for other photos). For editing the size of photos outside Thunderbird, I recommend GIMP, but you can use anything. For inside message editing, you can click on the image and resize it.

I would like to take this position to thank you for choosing Thunderbird and coming here before giving up and going back to oppressive closed-source software.
