Firefox mobile, pull to refresh feature, what's the holdup?
Guys, this is getting ridiculous. How long does it take to implement such a basic and simple feature into the stable version of FF mobile?!
I'm forced to use FF Nightly with its annoying daily updates, just so I can have the pull to refresh feature available.
People shouldn't be forced to download and use a test build of an app just to use a BASIC feature which should have been finished and available from day one.
Get your sh*t together please and add this to the stable FF mobile release already. PLEASE!
It doesn't need more "testing". You're not launching a moon rocket. It works fine. Add it to the stable release.
Yours, Frustrated and loyal FF user.

It still has quite a few issues: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1807071
But I'm not sure why you're so against Nightly. It's not a test build.

Thanks for your response!
To answer your question, I am not "against" Nightly, it's just that after a while I started to find the daily updates to be quite annoying. I've also witnessed some updates breaking things, only to be resolved a few updates down the line. To me that indicates a test build, even if it's not officially classified as such.
As for the issues, fine, I acknowledge that it can have some issues in very specific cases. I've been using it for over a year and for the most part it works perfectly fine. Putting aside the question of why it's taking so long to fix these issue (considering competing browsers have had this feature since forever), why not just add it to the stable release and allow people to simply turn it off if they find it problematic?
Heck, even add the ability to activate it manually from the about:config settings. Oh, that's right, I forgot, access to about:config was disabled in the stable build (another stupid decision). At least Chrome has the option to toggle experimental features in its about:config. And no, I will still not use Chrome. But this is just embarrassing.

Hi
Both Firefox for Android Beta and Nightly ard pre-Rtlease builds suitable for developers and those wishing to test new features. About:config is available in those builds, it does not give the same level of control as in the desktop version of Firefox as preferences are baked into the GeckoView engine.
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. If you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select either Share ideas and feedback… or Submit feedback…, depending on your Firefox version. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

Thank you for your feedback.
Firefox for Android 112 has been released and should be available for your device very soon. Please check regularly for updates through the Google Play store.
