This problem has started to occur in two areas.

1.) After upgrading to 3.6.8, the previously working Zone Alarm Security Browser Toolbar disappeared while providing the following error console message. " Failed to load XPCOM component: C:\Program Files\CheckPoint\ZAForceField\TrustChecker\components\MozillaDownload.dll.

2.) After the above error, I also am not able to access live chat support such as Mozilla chat support or CheckPoint (ZoneAlarm) and receive the following error console message: server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555

Tried starting FireFox in safe-mode, rebuilding profile, resetting preferences, uninstalling/reinstalling ZoneAlarm extension, and disabling/enabling extension.

The message about CVE-2009-3555 is meant for webmasters to make them aware that they need to fix their servers. Firefox 3.6 versions can detect such a misconfiguration and displays a warning in the "Tools > Error Console".

Running firefox 3.6.8, one computer is running Vista 64, the other XP, only Vista has this problem. If I run IE 8, it is not a problem.

Seems to me this is OS related, not server.

I agree that it seems to be something related to Windows 7 or Vista. I have a laptop running Windows XP and a desktop with Windows 7. Both run the same firefox version and I only have problems on the desktop. On my desktop, these particular sites ar failing to open even if I use IE8. I started to notice this issue after to apply Microsoft Sucurity Update KB2286198. I tried to roolback the installation but it didn't fix the issue. Any Idea on how to fix that is appreciated.

I get the error message "server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555" in my error console when I try to access files on my HP MediaSmart Homeserver remotely. The puzzling part is that I have had no trouble until today!
